Critical Materials positions itself as an enabling technology provider for the “nervous system and bio-brain” of critical applications of advanced materials. The company’s product portfolio comprises a Virtual Structural Analysis System – a system for monitoring and evaluation of critical structural sub-systems based on the virtualization of the relevant physical behaviour of the specific component.

PhD in Polymer Science and Mechanical Engineering by a join project of University of Minho (UM) and Ecole Nationale des Mines, Paris. Gustavo has been doing R&D on computational mechanics for polymer & composites with Lockheed Martin and Embraer, among others.



Júlio Viana, CTO & Product Architect.
PhD in Polymer Science and Mechanical Engineering by the University of Minho (UM). Julio has been doing research work on mechanically active polymeric systems and controlled morphology processing applications on Aeronautics & Automotive.
