We are looking for an Electronic/Software Engineer to integrate a team working in Guimarães, Portugal. The candidate will be integrated in a young active team supporting the development and implementation of software user interfaces (design of communication/ interfaces), statistical data treatment & optimization tools in the context of:

  • Software development and Systems Engineering;
  • Systems optimization;
  • Structural Health Evaluation System (SHS);

Responsibilities:
The candidate will work throughout the various phases of the development and implementation of software user interfaces integrated in a SHS. The candidate will be responsible to fill different roles inside the development team (software interface development, statistical data treatment, optimization tools, prototype building), and act proactively in quality assurance and product assurance.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Successful delivery of interfaces for software applications
  • Software development experience
  • Experience in statistical data treatment and optimization tools
  • Analytical mind
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and management skills
  • Must be capable of interfacing with customers, suppliers and collaborators
  • Good English language skills
