Implementation and Certification of R&D+I management system

CMT will share its know-how on policies and experiences towards Innovation Management in a Best Practices dissemination session about "Implementation and Certification of R&D+I management system" that will be held at Universidade do Minho, Guimarães, 27th September 2011. This event has multiple purposes: to present good practices of innovating companies that started their process of implementation of R&D+I management system; to share experiences; and to raise the awareness of industrial companies relatively to the importance of embracing a R&D+I Management System in their activities. Innovation management has emerged as a response to the challenges faced by companies that make R&D+I (Research & Development and Innovation) its competitive strength. A R&D+I management system allows the company to achieve its goals of innovation, to promote its organizational image, to improve its competitiveness, to accomplish an effective technological vigilance in order to anticipate market trends and identify new opportunities for improvement, as well as allowing a more efficient cooperation with Scientific and Technological System. CMT is technology base company seeded in knowledge, from which it creates, conceives and develops innovative products and engineering solutions for the market. R&D+I activities are crucial and central to the activity of the company. CMT is in phase of a sustainable and structured development of its internal R&D+I and innovation management competences.
